Mom & dad goose were keeping a close eye on me as I attempted to get a pic of their family so I was afraid to get any closer and as a result 2 of the babies got left out of the pic. There were 7 of them in total and they seemed to vary in size a bit which was interesting.

I hope they look left and right and left again before they cross ☺ Try and really enjoy that time to yourself Pat, you need it!
ReplyDeleteCould better be a canal then a road for them.
ReplyDeleteThey're very watchful parents.
ReplyDeleteWe have a mom and dad on the Stone Creek golf course. The babies have grown and gone but they stay together. Maybe this is that duo but some of your geese seem hesitant to go back north. Don't know why... :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I just saw something very similar yesterday only with mallards instead of geese.
ReplyDeleteCanada geese are easily adopted to living in urban areas. Chicago seems over run with then on every pond and lawn in the city. Nice family grouping even if you missed one or two of the kids.
ReplyDeletehow wonderful!
ReplyDeleteFun family outing!
ReplyDeleteThey have adopted so well to city living.
ReplyDeleteit is dangerous because hey are so close to road
ReplyDeletePerhaps some of the babies were adopted. Geese do that sometimes.
ReplyDeleteHello, the goslings are cute. I have seen some large geese families. I hope they are safe so close to the road. Great capture! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead!
