Cleaning Time
This pic was taken early on a Sunday morning in a courtyard in the Financial District, a time when no one is around. That is except for these two men who were walking circles around in the fountain with some sort of broom/squeegie to give it a good cleaning. The glass atrium and patio in the background belong to the Jump restaurant that I showed you yesterday.
Hello, it is a pretty fountain! I am sure there could be a lot of coin in the water too. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and the weekend ahead.
ReplyDeleteSomeone must do the work...
ReplyDeleteQuite a large fountain, nice pic, Pat !
Really nice fountain and great shot.

ReplyDeleteIt is nice know that they keep it clean.
ReplyDeleteThat fountain looks cool on a hot day. The men in the fountain make it look huge.
ReplyDeleteTop job for when it is really hot.
ReplyDeleteSomething we usually don't see! I know the fountain and flame on Parliament Hill is cleaned, but I've never seen the process done myself.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fair size pool and I bet children (and some adults) would love to be in that pool on occasion. I applaud the city fathers for maintaining its cleanliness.
ReplyDeleteGiven the weather here today, I think I would have been tempted to take a few dashes through those jets of water.
ReplyDeleteYou never think of the work that goes on behind the scenes with the things you like and enjoy in the city. Nice that you captured the great work they are doing in keeping the fountain area clean.
ReplyDeleteYou come across the most unexpected sights when you get out and about early Pat! Bet that's not such a fun job in winter 😊
ReplyDeleteInteresting job!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I would have thought they would have drained the fountain to clean it. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteNice capture. I often have trouble sleeping, so I should go downtown early, too.
ReplyDeleteI am sure there could be a lot of coin in the water too. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and the weekend ahead.
