Yes, you are probably right. It's not often we see this look any more unless we visit a little town like Deadwood, South Dakota still has one, but they don't sell gas any more! I've always liked this style.
The Art Deco style of this station is really from the 1930s, but they were also common in the 1950s. Most of these gas stations are now recycled to other purposes. Too bad someone tagged the building.

Definitely 50s -- takes me back to my childhood/teens (so last century ;>). It's beautifully preserved -- wish I could say the same.
