Details
This shot shows some of the details found above the door in yesterday's post. Since the building was originally built to showcase Ontario provincial exhibits it looks as if these panels are depicting types of industry found in the province. The one on the left looks like the lumber industry, the middle one is mining while the one on the right is a mystery to me. I couldn't figure it out at all. I do like this type of carving though.

ReplyDeleteYes, I do love murals and carvings that are historical markers. I also am intrigues by the heads on each side of the arch.

ReplyDeleteVery well done! I enjoy seeing ornate details. Might the mystery panel have anything to do with fabrics as they seem to have a large cloth.
