Indigo is the largest chain of bookstores in Canada and their float for the Santa Claus Parade featured books and toys for kids. I liked the cheerful egg at the front which probably moved up & down during the parade itself.

A sign of Christmas!
ReplyDeleteA great float for a bookstore!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Lovely float with all those characters from children's literature. I do feel sorry for book companies as people now read on their tablets. Books printed on paper seem to be a fading technology.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed you still have a chain of bookstores. They are few and far between down here. It's a cute float!
ReplyDeleteNeat !
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they are struggling in the digital age like Barnes is here. Barnes sells more board games, toys and gifts now to make up for it. And their cafe helps as well
ReplyDeleteHello, it is a cute float for the kiddies. I like the egg and dog.
ReplyDeleteThanks always for your visits and comments this past year. Have a happy day and week ahead. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Neatly whimsical!
ReplyDeleteThat's great!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Fun to see.
ReplyDelete...this was one neat parade.
ReplyDeleteIt has been years since I was at the Santa Claus Parade and I've enjoyed your pics of the floats.
ReplyDelete(I am always at Indigo, though!)
This is great fun, especially for the kiddos. I especially like the faces - so well done!
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteIndigo’s out here in the west, too, and I love their cozy reading nooks for kids. A parade would definitely be a cherry, or in this case a chick, on top of that. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's always good to know there are still bookstores around.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteSanto e feliz Natal para si e sua famÃlia.
