In The Pink
I showed you the pretty red building in the Yorkville Village neighbourhood a week ago and this is another of the surviving old buildings on Yorkville Ave. This Georgian beauty was built in 1837 and now houses Pink Tartan which is a women's wear brand. There is a well executed glass addition on the back which now acts as the entrance to this store.
...and as cute as can be!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see that this old building is thriving amongst all the newer buildings
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful looking place. I'd love to do a little shopping there.
ReplyDeletePart of the rich history and fabric of your wonderful city, P!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, let's definitely go there when I come over Pat 😀 it's a really attractive building.
ReplyDeleteI like that one!
ReplyDeleteGood to see old building holding up and taken care of.
ReplyDeleteA beauty of a building and very similar to Georgian buildings in many of our towns!
ReplyDeleteWhen it was built Yorkville was Toronto's suburbs.
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a beauty, Pat. Well captured!
ReplyDeleteQuite a beautiful building.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, truly a gem in my eyes!
ReplyDeleteMe gusta este edificio!!!
ReplyDeleteBesos.
It looks like the ground floor is below grade. I wonder if it was built that way or if the road itself has been raised.
