Reflections
I spotted these three sculptures during a warmer weather walk in the fall. They are found on an interesting courtyard which is several feet above the sidewalk at Yonge St & Front St and so it seems they tend to get ignored. It was hard to get a pic because of the reflective surfaces which tended to make them disappear. And there was no info around with the artist's name!
Lovely photo, beautiful colours.
ReplyDeleteI can see how easily they could disappear. They have such odd shapes and they are surrounded by patterns of all kinds. The reflections in them would make them blend in so well that it would be hard to see them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab shot Pat, you caught them perfectly here it's such a striking image, lighting and composition couldn't be any better!
ReplyDelete...very nice.
ReplyDeleteI like these. I know the spot- I just don't recall ever looking up towards where they would be.
ReplyDeleteI tried a google image search on the one on the left. Google didn't know.
ReplyDeleteDoes the building have a website? It may mention the art.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty indeed, I like them. Nice capture, Pat!
ReplyDeleteThey are very striking. It almost looks like they are birds crying to the heavens.
ReplyDeleteInteresting sculptures. Your photo almost looks like a painting!
ReplyDeleteReally. Wonderful photo.
ReplyDeleteInteresting shapes, and the pattern on the floor adds extra dimensions.
ReplyDeleteYou captured them well, Pat
ReplyDeleteGreat shot.
ReplyDeleteHello, I love the odd shapes, they are pretty sculptures. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeleteSlivers of beauty! I can just imagine what effects on sunny days can bring to them as well!
ReplyDeleteTh reflections on the one at the right are pretty wonky.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love the art and the mix of new and old architecture.
