The Hardworking Beaver

This is the next section of Monday's mural with the wolf leading us into the pic. I really wish that I knew all of the symbolism of the images used but this one seems to be filled with the natural world showing the geese, the heron and of course the noble beaver. There are a couple of more sections to show in the next days.

  4. It takes a ton of artistic talent to put together something like this. That little beaver is working very hard to get his dam finished on time!

  5. There is a lot to see in this section. Besides the animals you named, there is a canoe at the bottom of the circle and snowshoes at the top.

  10. Came across this info online: The Heron- the first people [respected] the heron's inquisitiveness, determination and excellent judgement skills while it fishes or hunts. They believed sighting a heron before a hunt would indicate the hunt would be a victorious one.

  11. It's beautiful and all the symbols remind me of Minnesota, especially northern Minnesota! Even the old snow shoes!
