The Hardworking Beaver
This is the next section of Monday's mural with the wolf leading us into the pic. I really wish that I knew all of the symbolism of the images used but this one seems to be filled with the natural world showing the geese, the heron and of course the noble beaver. There are a couple of more sections to show in the next days.
Hello, it is a pretty nature scene filled with the wildlife. Beautiful mural.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday, enjoy your day!
Very nice! Glad you are showing us these close-ups of the large mural
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Fantastic to see & enjoy the artistry & craft which has gone into this mural!
ReplyDeleteIt takes a ton of artistic talent to put together something like this. That little beaver is working very hard to get his dam finished on time!
ReplyDeleteThere is a lot to see in this section. Besides the animals you named, there is a canoe at the bottom of the circle and snowshoes at the top.
ReplyDeleteThey are some amazing murals you found there
ReplyDeleteYou're right Pat, and Canadian symbols mostly. Beautifully executed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful details of this pretty artwork, Pat !
ReplyDeleteIt's vividly done... quite realistic in the details.
ReplyDeleteCame across this info online: The Heron- the first people [respected] the heron's inquisitiveness, determination and excellent judgement skills while it fishes or hunts. They believed sighting a heron before a hunt would indicate the hunt would be a victorious one.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful and all the symbols remind me of Minnesota, especially northern Minnesota! Even the old snow shoes!
ReplyDeleteSeeing these sections that make up the mural, you realize just how talented the artist is. Such beautiful well done work. I love it!
ReplyDeleteA real work of art, the colours really pop out.
