Walking along Queen St W early on a Sunday morning I happened upon Glory Hole Doughnuts which had a steady stream of cars pulling up out front and people running in for a treat. The reviews I read on line were great but I didn't make it inside so will have to head back on another day.
Seconds after taking this pic I stepped in a gift from a local dog so thought it better not to enter that day.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
That made me laugh. That would have made me sort of lose my appetite. Go back and give them a try when the sidewalk is clear.
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny name for a donut shop. Sorry to hear of your messed up shoes. I hate when that happens. Have a happy Valentines Day, RP.
ReplyDeleteInteresting name for the shop! Sorry about the mishap. You definitely have to go back!
ReplyDeleteLove the name of the donut shop but ooops! You stepped in a gory hole! Hate it when dog owners don't pick it up!
ReplyDeleteThese donut stores are popping just as fast as the mini breweries. Sorry to hear your day turned into a crappy one.

Sorry about the shoe!
ReplyDeleteThat is an odd name for a doughnut shop.
Strange name for a shop :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day, Pat.
You do know what the urban dictionary says a glory hole is don't you?
ReplyDeleteLOL quite the name....the owners must have a sense of humour.
ReplyDeleteWith all the healthy trends going around, I am happy to see that some donut shops thrive.
ReplyDeleteSIGNS
I'll go with most of the previous commenters - that's a wild name for this shop. So sorry about the dog poop. Do you suppose it was left there by an unsupervised canine or by a by the over-privileged owner who felt he/she need not deign themselves to stoop to clean up their canine's mess?
ReplyDeleteWeird name for the shop but people know the product. Sorry to hear about the mess you stepped in, that stinks. :) I did the same just last week and was not happy.
ReplyDeleteYuck! Just in time for Valentine's Day. :-)
ReplyDelete...great spot for 'Fat Tuesday."
ReplyDeleteGreat post
ReplyDeleteI checked the website, too, and the flavors sound delicious.
ReplyDeleteI bet it's filled with lots of creme
ReplyDeleteNow you made me what a Dough nut
ReplyDeleteOh no! A gift from a dog on Valentine's Day, that's not very romantic Pat.. and before you could get a donut.. that's tragic 😋
ReplyDeleteAnd they're using the proper spelling for doughnuts!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the doggie-do!
Such a perfect name for it!
ReplyDeleteNope. I'm not going to comment on the name. Now, comment on your shoe mishap? Sorry about that.
ReplyDeleteOh darn dogs and the people who don't keep them on a leash. Doughnuts sound good
