Giant Pine Cone
I spotted this giant pine cone on the lawn of a home just west of the U of Toronto. I really like it and I think it must look great in winter with some snow on it so I will have to remember to go back just after we get some white stuff. It is probably about 4 ft tall.
Hello, that is a cool sculpture and pine cone. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteAmazing!
ReplyDeleteI like it too! It reminds me of the sculpted cactus I see in different places around here.
ReplyDeleteIt stands out nicely!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cool sculpture Pat.. the house in the background looks like it could be a wee bit Art Decoish, what do you think?
ReplyDeleteI like it! Maybe they put Christmas lights on it! I would lol
ReplyDeleteThere is a park in St. Louis that is dedicated to sculptures like that. Laumeier Sculpture park.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting find. I bet they decorate it for the holidays.
ReplyDeletewow it is huge
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual looking tree. Never have seen on like it before. Well spotted.
ReplyDeleteNice one.
ReplyDeleteA cool sculpture, Pat ! It's really a giant cone !
ReplyDelete...I'm imaging how big the tree must be!
ReplyDeleteYou get on that!!! :-)
ReplyDeletethat is big!
ReplyDeleteOne of the homes in a close-by neighbourhood has a metal palm tree in their front yard which seems a mite bizarre in our climate. This sculpture makes more sense in your location and I too would like to see it covered with snow.
