Into The Ravine

After I left the Toronto Botanical Garden having viewed all of the sculptures I decided to continue along where it runs into the ravine of Edwards Gardens thinking that it might be cooler. The shade of the trees felt good but the heat and humidity still made it uncomfortable. There is a string of connected parks that reach right down to Lake Ontario running along tributaries of the Don River.

  1. The heat and humidity do seem to be lasting longer this year than normal.

  2. That would be a great place for a long walk when the weather isn't so hot and steamy.

  3. All that lush greenness is misleading Pat, it looks as if it should be wonderfully cool ✨

Hopefully now we really have seen the end of the heat.

  6. Lovely trees. It's the humidity that gets me; dry heat is so much more bearable.

  11. We've slipped into autumn, including rain today. It's hard to imagine heat and humidity, especially when this shot looks so cool and inviting.
