Orange Beauties

There were still a lot of Monarch Butterflies fluttering around last week when I spotted these two gathering some nutrients. The weather is really changing now so most of them will have headed south towards Mexico this week!

  8. Great shot! What's the life span of a Monarch Butterfly? Do they really fly all the way to Mexico?

  9. Beautifully captured. Monarchs are so incredible - gorgeous and indomitable. We used to see them when they stopped by the sanctuary in Pacific Grove.
