This garage looks quite old, probably older than the house that it belongs to as you can see in the background. I love the textures and the warmth of the rust.
This really does remind me of Illinois where I grew up. I would see old buildings like this all over town. I can almost hear the rusty grinding of those hinges when the door is opened.
Nice find and great shot! Like Sharon, I can almost hear the hinges squeak as the doors open (though it looks like they're the newest things on this building).

What? No mural on the doors? :-)

ReplyDeleteI love any old places like this - character and charm it used to called. Now we just crush everything and rebuild it. :-(
ReplyDeleteRusty old structures like this are so incredibly photogenic, nice one Pat ✨
ReplyDeletePerfectly titled post ..,yup this old workhorse is hanging on! (I think I get more interested in that sort of thing the older I get).
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool photo opportunity and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that just possibly some artist or artists actually work within that space.
ReplyDeleteLo abandonado siempre nos llama mucho la atenciĆ³n.
