Danger Overhead
After some snow storms you really have to keep an eye open on what is above your head. If the snow falls and there is little wind it will gather like this on evergreen trees and create big snowballs that later fall and soak you as you walk along. Pretty though!
Hello,
ReplyDeletePretty view of the snow covered branch and the lovely sky. Have a happy day!
Hoe long until the snow is really go me.
ReplyDeleteExcellent reason to wear a wide brim hat. :-)
ReplyDelete...looks like a nice snowball fight to me!
ReplyDeleteWe had some of that overnight. It's really collected on the trees.
ReplyDeleteThey really are pretty Pat, like snow blossoms.. until they fall on your head 😀
ReplyDeleteIt's really petty but, you are right it could some trouble for the people below. That reminds me of the one building in Chicago that had a steep, slanted roof. There were times in the winter when they had to close the sidewalk below the building because ice would slide off and if the ice sheet was big enough, it could cause serious injuries.
ReplyDeleteYears ago I was walking with a friend and he got hit by an icicle falling off a house. Luckily he got hit in the arm and had a huge bruise. You're absolutely right to look up, good info to keep in mind.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful. Have a nice weekend
ReplyDeleteGood to keep an eye out for falling snowballs. Like that blue sky.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the summer version of the snowball tree.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, especially against that blue sky. But, like Andy, I think flowering trees are preferable.
ReplyDeleteWe woke to a thin white coating today but it is now long gone and the mercury is forecast to rise into the upper 60's in a few days. Hooray for Spring!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, I've experienced that too and it is beautiful too!
