Verandahs On Grace St
At the end of May I showed you a bookmark (HERE) that mentioned the verandahs along Grace St which the residents sat out on to cool off on hot summer nights. I finally went for a walk along Grace St and took a pic of the typical homes that you find in this neighbourhood, Little Italy. Practically every house has a large front porch and there are always a variety of chairs for sitting out watching the world pass by just as in the excerpt from the book.
They look nice place.

Sittin' on the verandah was a common sight when I was a kid.
