Blue
Glass seems to be the material of choice for a lot of balconies on condo buildings and apartments. I assume it must be cheaper than metal and faster to install. I spotted these blue balconies from a couple of blocks away and thought they looked great in the sunshine.
...and I assume that people don't want their view blocked!
ReplyDeleteIf sit down low on the balconies there's no need for sun glasses. ᒡ◯ᵔ◯ᒢ
ReplyDeleteMe gustan sus líneas azules.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
I love the abstract look of it and I'm amazed at how the blue really pops out.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI would think the glass makes a prettier view to look through. But, I have not seen the blue glass. They do look nice! Enjoy your day, have a great new week!
If does look good Pat, wonder if the blue helps with the heat, probably not but it is an attractive feature.. and my favourite 😉
ReplyDeleteMore and more it's becoming a thing. This looks real nice.
ReplyDeleteYes I have glass above a low wall. It's nice to be able to see, but also to feel secure. Nice post thanks 😊
ReplyDeleteA good shot!
ReplyDeleteWe put in glass on our back deck. It makes for an amazing view.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, excellent light. It must have a wonderful view.
ReplyDeleteThey're actually using glass to wrap a heating/cooling plant at the college near me so that you can see the amazing array of equipment.
ReplyDeleteIt would open up the view but then who has to clean them.
ReplyDeleteFor us it is all about maximising the view.
ReplyDeleteBetter for having a view I guess, really great contrast to the building.
ReplyDeleteI Like It
ReplyDeleteI am not sure about the prize of glass and metal. You may not fall through so it must be layered with a transparent plastic foil with glass on 2 sides ( at least here in the netherlands ) and a perforated metal sheet is not so expensive any more.
