It's Coming
This is the other side of Queen St W from yesterday's post and you can see the signs of modernity approaching the older buildings. Some of the old ones have disappeared completely such as where the H&M store is. Here's hoping that this doesn't happen to the whole street.
...not an improvement in my mind!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a difference. The modern buildings are creeping that way. I'm with you, I hope it doesn't creep across the street.

ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThat is sad to see the old buildings disappearing. Enjoy your day, happy weekend!
It's a shame that modern buildings are taking over the area.
ReplyDeleteOh, so sorry to see those old buildings surrounded by all that horrible glass.
ReplyDeleteI love the older buildings!
ReplyDeleteOlder buildings give cities and identity. Lose them and you can be anywhere.

Glass vs. brick.
ReplyDeletePerth has a great way of combining old and new architecture, I hope this goes for this place, too.
ReplyDeleteI still have a t-shirt I bought at age 18 (I´m nearly 48 now.. help!) at H&M, when they were still cheap (I wear it at night only ;-) It´s a little "worn"...)
Great, I shop in ours from time to time too!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the new glass buildings are gobbling up the old ones here.
