It is that sale time of year and all of the stores along Queen St W are having clearance events. Time to get ready for spring clothes I guess! Taking part in Signs 2. Click HERE to see more signs from around the world.
A familiar sight. I passed by their Eaton Centre location a little while ago and saw that they were moving back to their Queen Street location. It's the first I've heard of the store.
Sales are everywhere over here. It's funny to see especially with no tourists this time of year crowding the towns up. It's the locals who have taken over for the off season. :)
I haven't noticed sales down here, but it is the high season when most stores make most of their money for the year, so I guess they don't want to cut the prices.
Nothing like making it a secret, then everyone will know. Interesting sales sign.
ReplyDeleteThe same thing is happening here. I see "SALE" signs in all the store windows.
ReplyDeleteThe same here.... the word SALE everywhere...
ReplyDeleteDo you know that in Italian the word "sale" means "salt"
and "vivorosa" is "I'm living pink" ?

ReplyDeleteIt's now a discount time.
ReplyDeleteJanuary is the month when shopkeepers sell off their Christmas left overs.
ReplyDeleteI went shopping on Boxing Day and didn't manage to find deals on anything I needed. Now I'm hunkered down trying to avoid our rainy weather.
ReplyDeleteBoxing Day sales are always crazy. Great artwork.
ReplyDeleteWe used to have summer and winter sale, but no more. SALE is all the time. GIVE AWAY would be something new...
ReplyDeleteStill a beautiful sign!
