Taking a Break From Ice Sculptures

The crowds were so large at the Ice Fest in Yorkville that a lot of people took a break in the park to relax and get some space. There are a few areas with heaters surrounded by blue chairs where everyone could take a rest although it seemed mostly kids were using the chairs.

  1. Hello,

The red lanterns are cute? Are they lights? Great street/people scene! Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend!

  6. I e joyed the ice sculptures and esp the one dedicated to Terry Fox. It was nice to find a less crowded park like this one to get a break tho. What are The red things in the trees.? I couldn’t quite make them out.

  7. I crave color in winter and this spot pours it on and looks like a fun spot. (To answer your question, our ferry ride to Victoria is 90 minutes & ends in the inner harbour, steps to Parliament, the Royal B.C. Museum, and downtown shops. It's our closest big city. Seattle is approx. 2-1/2 to 3 hrs. drive, including a shorter ferry ride.)
