The big guy in the window of the hat shop caught my attention. What a great mannequin that fellow is. The sign is painted in the style of the old fashioned hand-painted signs that Honest Ed's store here was known for. They became collectible when the store closed and you can find framed old signs from Ed's in some of the trendiest places around town.

What a great mannequin. It's so realistic!
ReplyDeleteI agree. He looks like someone out of a police lineup. Are you sure he's not wanted for something? :-)

ReplyDeleteCool that the old signs live on!
ReplyDelete...Honest Ed's is a place that I'm so sorry to have missed! The name of the place is so refreshing in these dark days. I wish that they were honest in the White House. Take care and stay safe.
ReplyDeleteBowler hat and T-shirt? Not a combination I've seen before.

ReplyDeleteThe mannequin looks like something out of a wax museum. It's almost too lifelike for a shop window.

ReplyDeleteThat "guy" really is cool!
ReplyDeleteHello,
