I recently passed by the apartment at 35 Walmer Rd which is one of the buildings designed by Uno Prii in the 1960s and discovered that this sign has been placed out front pointing to other projects by him in the Annex neighbourhod. You can see them if you click the Uno Prii label below and I will show you another of his buildings tomorrow.

Very cool! Such a creative work.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is Wow! That is quite a portfolio of beautiful architecture. I love his designs.
ReplyDelete...some design buildings to maximize footage and income, others design landmarks. It would be nice to have more of the latter. Thanks for sharing, take care.
ReplyDeleteInteresting sign about this important architect. Looking forward to seeing your photos of his buildings.
ReplyDeleteI like the first two (from l to r). The last one, while creative, still looks like your standard rectangular box.
ReplyDeleteI like these designs.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and creative buidings. You photographed his work very nicely, Pat.
ReplyDeleteHello,

Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteQuite a difference between them.
ReplyDeleteI must have walked by one of those every day on my way from our place near Casa Loma down to UofT.
ReplyDeleteI remember checking out his work the last time you posted one of his buildings. I'll be happy to see another tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteNice that they put up an information sign. I like learning about architecture.
ReplyDeleteGood to see recognition for an architect.
ReplyDeleteZiet er precies zo uit als ik ooit zag op de vakantieeilanden voor de middellandse zeekust in frankrijk.
