Mellow Yellow
The houses in yesterday's pic were on the west side of Yonge St and if you continue east to the other side of Yonge St you enter the Rosedale neighbourhood, one of the most expensive neighbourhoods in the country. This is where the 'old' money lives. This yellow house is not one of the large ones found there but it is unusual in that it isn't red brick. The yellow looks refreshing on a warm summer day.
Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I like this one very much! It has character.
ReplyDelete...it reminds me of Donavan.
ReplyDeleteIt's a grand house, but too close to the street.
ReplyDeleteAn elegant house with an interesting front. Unusual for the front door to be on one side and the front mostly windows. This house was obviously designed before automobiles. Perhaps it has a carriage house in the rear?
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI like the mellow yellow, the house looks big and beautiful.
Enjoy your day, happy weekend to you!
Oh my... this house is immaculate.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful house.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty house with lots of windows.
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful, especially in that color!
ReplyDeleteLovely house in that colonial style.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful house.
ReplyDeleteRe the new Blogger, it took me a while to find it but the 'new post' clickbox is a red circle with a + in it, at the bottom right corner of the (design) page, the page that lists all your published and unpublished posts.
It certainly does Pat, quite an unusual colour choice but it definitely works ✨
ReplyDeleteFine photos and title, Pat!
ReplyDeleteAs Grace says, it works.
ReplyDeleteSo pleasant looking!
