Neighbours Down The Block
These houses are found just down the block from yesterday's homes and were built around the same time, in the 1890s. These were built for bricklayers which probably accounts for the fancier brick work. They now have heritage protection and I doubt that anyone would be allowed to paint the exterior today.
...it's good to hear that they are protected.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these. That brickwork is very appealing.
ReplyDeleteNice brickwork indeed.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful just as they are!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
I like the brickwork. I wonder how much that one is selling for?
ReplyDeleteThese are great looking houses, and I expect they are now quite valuable. given their look and location. They are examples of the brick layers art.
ReplyDeleteLove the embellishments on these and those you showed yesterday. They don't build them like that any more.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeletePretty homes! I like this brickwork, it adds a little more detail to the homes. Enjoy your day, have a happy weekend!
Nor should they want to change the exteriors, given their history.
ReplyDeleteThe brick work is incredible. Very beautiful homes, Pat.
ReplyDeleteTime for love to detail. But what about the grey one?
ReplyDeleteReally happy they are heritage listed Pat..they certainly knew how to build to last in those days 💙
ReplyDeleteThey're wonderful, and I just can imagine the insides are just as cozy!
