This is another pic from my archives taken the same day as my post for last week's Signs 2. This too has seen a lot of changes with Hermes having moved a few doors along Bloor St W to a much larger space and more ornate facade. I rather like the understatement of this one which now houses a ladies' clothing store. This is just a few blocks away from last week's small stores. What a difference a few blocks can make!

Fancy company and I like the storefront.
ReplyDeleteI like this simple, understated entrance too. The name Hermes says it all. You don't need any extra ornamentation.
ReplyDeleteIf you know the name, you know whats inside!
ReplyDeleteThis is an appropriate name for a store as Hermes was a Roman messenger god that protected merchants and thieves among others.
ReplyDelete...yep there sure are lots of changes! This shop sure looks inviting, I hope that it survives. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI like it.
ReplyDeleteLooks inviting, nice window displays.
ReplyDeleteI still like storefront displays like this. So much more inviting than a web site.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how the new, larger store is doing. I can't say I've ever crossed the threshold of a Hermes store.
ReplyDeleteI love that crisp street shot!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyable Tom
ReplyDeleteVery modest for that brand name.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteIt is a very pretty storefront, I like their window display. Not too busy looking. Take care and stay safe! Enjoy your day!
