I showed you a couple of houses being demolished back in mid June (HERE) and I went by the site a few days ago to see what progress was being made. They are not wasting time at all as the foundations are in and they were pumping concrete into the forms for the basement. I'll show you another view tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteIt's come a long way since the concrete-mixer and wheelbarrow days.
ReplyDelete...it's the way it flows!
ReplyDeleteThe concrete pump saves a huge amount of hand labor, and allows getting concrete into tight spaces. These are used on all our Habitat foundation pours. Also they are fun to watch in action.
ReplyDeleteOh wow that was fast work Pat, really looking forward to seeing what goes up here ✨
ReplyDeleteAt this rate it looks like the new townhouses will be up before the snow flies.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThey are working fast, a building will be there before you know it.
Take care, enjoy your day!
Wasting no time, getting it done!
ReplyDeleteGood shot.
ReplyDeleteProgress. They say.
ReplyDeleteWhat a setup! Quick and slick.
ReplyDeleteWe did a concrete pour last month for a small foundation using a rented mixer. A third of the way through the pour the darned thing broke down. We had a very distressed contractor and my husband practically flew into town to track down another.
"Men at work"! :-)
ReplyDeleteNice action shot, Pat
ReplyDelete'm fascinated by these concrete trucks, how they keep it liquid, and how long they can keep the cement.
ReplyDeleteI like this perspective.
