This is one of the art pieces installed atop of the streetcar stops along St Clair St W. The eyes and flowers are visible from both sides and help to make the stops a bit more attractive. The TD Canada Trust signs are on a building on the other side of the street. I'm not sure who the artist for this one is.

The eyes follow the walkers.
ReplyDeleteThose eyes are keeping a good watch over the station.
ReplyDeleteHello,

I do like seeing this art work at streetcar stops. It gives each stop its own character.

ReplyDeleteWe've got art installed at our LRT stations.
ReplyDeleteBut what are they looking at?! :-)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of some posters we have here to stop vandalism in parks. They say that even though the eyes "watching you' are photos, it deters people from doing damage.
ReplyDeleteBig Sister is watching.
ReplyDeleteIt humanizes the location. I like it!
ReplyDeleteArt always helps to spend boring times.
