Wetland

Walking along the ravine that I showed you last week I spotted this sign, another one attempting to get dog owners to keep their dogs on leash. Hopefully the signs are helping a bit with some people.

  2. Hello,

I would hope most owner keep their dogs leash all the time while out walking. We have a leash law here. Take care, enjoy your day!

  3. They should absolutely keep their dogs on a leash when in areas like this, it's the same here Pat, there's always going to be some who think the rules don't apply ✨

  4. Well, I would hope so, though what I've seen around here doesn't fill me with confidence.

  5. A fine sign. I did some research on a small San Francisco park and the major line of conflict was between dog walkers and everyone else.

  6. It should be a given regardless, but some people are sadly ignorant of rules.

  7. Some people don't even read signs like these. The rules are not for "them".

  9. In the marshes near where I often walk, if your dog happened to wander into them, chances are he or she might never return. :-)

  11. Yes, if not in dog parks, leash, please.
I never got bitten but yikes, I´m afraid of dogs and I hate when they run at me and the owner from "far away" shouts it won´t "do anything". It´s not just other animals, it´s humans, too ;-)

  12. Wetland areas are very important for birds and other animals, they should be protected.
