As you walk around the Dreaming sculpture the perspective really changes and when you view it from the front it becomes quite flattened. The effect is rather dreamlike as you circle around it.
I went back and looked at my old photos from Chicago and discovered that the head similar to this one that I saw there was by the same artist. I had forgotten the artist's name and had also forgotten that he also created the Crown Fountain in that city. What a talented artist.
