This is the sculpture visible in the background of yesterday's post. This rather elegant sculpture adds a bit of interest to the park and acts as a focal point for people looking for a quiet spot to sit for a bit.
Tom beat me to the comment. I have known a number of ladies who have lost their heads. And someone needs to lend her a hand. (Sorry abut that, I'll go away now.)
...many have lost their heads lately.
ReplyDeleteFor whom is the red latern? All or a certain person?

ReplyDeleteInteresting scupture with no head and a missing hand. I wonder what the story behind this is.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering about that red candle. Someone seems to be paying a tribute.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteWas the sculpture always missing the head. The candle looks like it is a memorial. Take care, enjoy your weekend!
I find headless statues rather disturbing. It would not be a relaxing place for me.
ReplyDeleteI like the remarks from Tom and Taken for Granted the best to express my feelings about this statue.
ReplyDeleteUnusual.
