I watched these Red-tailed Hawks atop a cell phone tower for about 15 minutes as they squawked at each other, flew around a bit, had a bite to eat, and then got friendly. We should be having young Hawks flying around the neighbourhood this spring!

Quite a pair!
ReplyDeleteTheir encounter sounds more like a human date. Let us hope you see some young hawks in the near future.
ReplyDeleteHope the date has an happy ending.
ReplyDeleteThe courting ritual worked in this case. I hope you can spot the young ones when they arrive.
ReplyDeleteNot the most romantic place for a date, but obviously it had its charms.
ReplyDelete...distancing?
ReplyDeleteI'm betting they have much to share too!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteIt is neat to see the pair of Hawks. Maybe we will see you posting a photo of their young.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day! Happy Weekend!
Looks like they are having a pre dinner date discussion. :)

ReplyDeleteQuite amusing!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture of them together.
ReplyDeleteWow! Cool!
ReplyDeleteLovely. I’ve been watching a pair of wood pigeons in the trees opposite my house. Proper little lovebirds.
ReplyDeleteBeen seeing a lot of that kind of activity around here too. As SWMBO reminds me, it's Spring.
ReplyDeleteGreat pair.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the smile!
ReplyDeleteNext we'll be seeing hawks flying around with smartphones. :-)
