On A Tilt

I've always liked this tilted building which is part of a condo complex in the financial district. It houses a restaurant but since we have been locked down for basically the last year I haven't been near it so am not sure if the restaurant has survived.

  1. Very interesting architecture. Looking through the window, it looks very pleasant. Fingers crossed it will survive.

  2. Restaurants have been the victim of the pandemic, and many have disappeared. This building at an angle is jarring to the eye, and to my builder's sensibilities, but it makes for a strong photo.

  3. We have lots of buildings like that in England - but the result of subsidence rather than architecture, I fear! It certainly makes you take notice.

  8. Very cool building. Like the mix of materials, and the form.
Oh, let´s hope life comes back to all those places. It makes me sad to see how many have closed down for good here.

  12. A unique piece of architecture Pat, excellent for reflections too! I hope the restaurant opens again, so hard to survive such a long period of closure ✨
