I spotted my first Daffodils of the spring last week. They were growing at the base of a south-facing hill so were in a bit of a warm microclimate. It was wonderful to see them.
I miss the daffodils and tulips that announce the arrival of spring up north. My daughter went past my new house recently and said that there are clumps of daffodils all over the place. They will be done by the time I get back.
They are a delight.
