I spotted this tree at James Gardens and was intrigued by the way it splits from a centre core and then each side branch lays down on the ground to grow outwards. There are grasses in the same plot which haven't sprouted yet which makes the tree's shape more visible than it is in summer.
A most unusual and interesting tree. Could this be in a Japanese garden?
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how some trees grow this way. "Lazy Tree" is a good name for it.
