Raccoons and pigeons are two of our most common urban creatures, maybe being outnumbered by squirrels. This mural by Colin Turner Bloom (aka ColinMakesArt) was found on a local garage. It has a real urban look about it.

This one is well done.
ReplyDeleteRaccoons were the bane of our existence when we lived in a house. After 8 years in a condo this year we have been plagued with pigeons...on the higher floors of the building. Seems the high rise towers remind them of the high mountains they came from....
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your trips around the city!
ReplyDeleteI like this. I also like the cute little raccoon faces.
ReplyDeleteInteresting garage mural honoring these urban creatures. I've always liked raccoons for their clever survival skills. Not sure I understand or appreciate the graffiti in the middle of this mural.
ReplyDeleteWe have pigeons aplenty here too Pat, still to see a racoon 😉
ReplyDeleteThat is so nice, what a cool garage door.
ReplyDeletegreat photo love
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful garage door, love the raccoon face.
ReplyDeleteWe've definitely have a lot of raccoons and pigeons, but not in numbers that even approximate the number of gray squirrels.
ReplyDeleteRaccoons know how to make the best of everything :) Glad to see they are getting their due.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'd like to come home to that every night.
ReplyDeleteRaccoons look so cute! Pigeons are a pest here...
