A Temporary View
This view of Casa Loma from Dupont St appeared a few weeks ago when a 4 storey building was knocked down. One was never able to see the Casa from here for many many years and the view will soon be gone as a condo is going in here. Just what we need in the city - another condo building.
Developers get their way with everything.

That's a nice view, too bad it will be blocked by the condo. Eventually people will wonder where this view was taken from, it's good you got a photo of it.

ReplyDeleteJust hope this condo building is not a poured concrete building like the one that fell down in Miami. Great view, especially with the bike rider that gives action to your shot.

I understand the sense of regret that another tall building is going up, but real estate in a city has to be used efficiently and we can't keep appropriating more and more land. I hope the building will be constructed with sound environmental features incorporated into it. Green buildings are achievable if there is the will to do it.
