I have probably walked by this house in the Annex hundreds of times but for some reason never noticed it before. This time the wonderful porch with the hanging baskets of flowers caught my eye. It is different in style from the usual Annex neighbourhood house like those on the right in the pic. This is a perfect time of year to sit out on that porch and read.
It is pretty special Pat, the surround corner porch is beautiful, will keep the house cooler in summer too. Hanging baskets full of colour add so much don't they 🌸
ReplyDeleteLovely house.
ReplyDeleteIt looks distinctive.
ReplyDeleteThat's something I remember doing when I was living in Illinois. Here in AZ, the outdoor reading is done in the winter instead.
ReplyDeleteIndeed a great cozy corner here.
ReplyDeletePorches and decks are great for sitting outside. This house has a great view of the neighborhood being on the corner, and the house is large and spacious. Unfortunately our weather has been too hot to sit outside.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful house! It would be nice to sit on and enjoy the porch. Great for people watching.
ReplyDeleteIt's the porch and veranda that I like
ReplyDeleteThat house seems too big for only one family.
ReplyDeleteA pretty house and I like that porch.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! And practical - no need to put up a brolly for sun or rain...
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful home, I like the porch and hanging baskets.
Take care, have a happy day and week ahead.
Nice one Pat. I am glad you finally notice the house. :-)
ReplyDeleteA lovely spot!
ReplyDeleteIt is a colorful collection of attached houses. The stonework for the one on the left is different from any I have seen.
