This was the sun about a week & 1/2 ago at around I hour before sunset. The forest fires out west in Canada and the USA are creating so much smoke that when it hits us the skies are hazy and our air quality is terrible. The moon later that night was also bright orange.
I might have been looking at the moon that night. It was that colour all night.
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty amazing how far the smoke has spread across the northern hemisphere.
ReplyDelete...global warming affects us all.
ReplyDeleteOur cool front is brings Canadian smoke into our skies today. We have had hazy skies for the past month. The smoke in your photo makes for a grim view.
ReplyDeleteBummer-shot, but yikes for the smoke.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a Japanese art work. Its beautiful but the cause is terrible.
