Horse Chestnut


 There are a few Horse Chestnut trees growing on the grounds of Spadina House. This is one of the loveliest of them.

  12. That's beautiful, a lovely shape. I managed to germinate some conkers two years ago so I have two saplings in pots, each about 18" high. They will soon be ready to plant out. There's a local scheme for growing trees to plant.
