Green

I was at James Gardens on a very sunny cool day and the angle of the winter sun was really reflecting nicely off the heads of the male Mallards so of course I shot a whole load of pics to try to get some great green showing. But of course they don't stay still for long so I had a lot of duds. I like this one and also I like seeing his little foot below the water.

  6. A Mandarin Duck came flying in to Stockholm earier in the week. Not something that happens very often, so the bird watchers, soon gathered nearby.

  17. The green is remarkable. In a world full of feathered creatures it stands out as silky with a brilliant sheen.

  18. I used to see mallards all the time in New England, and I know they are also found in Florida, but I rarely see the males here.
