When this grocery store was built, probably 20 years ago, a row of trees was planted along the front of it with just a tiny bit of open soil around each of them. They struggled along and finally most of them had died and so recently they were all pulled out and these signs were placed where each tree was to warn people about the tripping hazard. Hopefully new trees appear with a better method of planting them.

ReplyDeleteI'd take note of these signs. I've tripped too many times.
ReplyDelete...growing trees in a sea of concrete is rarely successful! In the meantime, wait your step. Take care and stay well.
ReplyDeleteI guarantee that there is always someone who will not notice the signs. ٩(̾●̮̮̃̾•̃̾)۶
ReplyDeleteHow did we ever survive without signs warning of danger? Suspect these signs have more to do with insurance liability than people's personal safety.

ReplyDeleteI have no doubt that someone didn't read the signs.
ReplyDeleteYou can't really expect trees to thrive in such a situation. Planners never seem to learn this evident truth.
ReplyDeleteWow! Awesome picture! Great perspective. Those yellow signs are beautifully depicted.
ReplyDeleteSo many signs.
