Just Hanging Around

The young Red-tailed Hawks are still playing around on the construction crane near my place when the workers are gone. It certainly gives them a good view of their surroundings.

  1. We have many Red Tail Hawks around here. I'm always delighted to see them soaring overhead. You took a fine photo of this bird, and I'm sure the bird also checked you out.

  5. Pigeons beware. Hawks love hanging out in the cities.
Pat there's nothing wrong with your spelling... Doug Henning is correct. :-)

  6. I saw a hawk mixing it up with a mockingbird yesterday on a weathervane atop Colonial Williamsburg's courthouse. Quite entertaining! :-)
