The young Red-tailed Hawks are still playing around on the construction crane near my place when the workers are gone. It certainly gives them a good view of their surroundings.

We have many Red Tail Hawks around here. I'm always delighted to see them soaring overhead. You took a fine photo of this bird, and I'm sure the bird also checked you out.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteGreat capture of the Red-tailed Hawk, it looks like he has a great view.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend.
It looks like he is enjoying this like playground equipment! lol What a great photo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bird. I'm sure they are a bit confused by all the construction.
ReplyDeletePigeons beware. Hawks love hanging out in the cities.
ReplyDeletePat there's nothing wrong with your spelling... Doug Henning is correct. :-)
I saw a hawk mixing it up with a mockingbird yesterday on a weathervane atop Colonial Williamsburg's courthouse. Quite entertaining! :-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome hawk! We saw today the western Marsh harrier (Circus aeruginosus)
ReplyDeleteLucky Pat!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture. That young bird is going to be puzzled when it finally sees a real tree.
