The Yorkville Rock


 This large rock is found in the lovely small park in the Yorkville neighbourhood and is a very popular place for people to gather or to meet up. It weighs around 650 tons and was cut into large pieces to be transported into the city and then was reassembled.

    That is an excellent street shot with all these people enjoying the warmth and sunshine. The rock is amazingly large.

    Good explanation as I didn’t recall TO as being a place for rock outcrops. Here in Lanark County though … 😀
