This mural recently appeared on a building across the road from one of the maintenance yards of the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission). It shows a worker cutting a streetcar rail. There was no artist name but you can see that it is sponsored by the city, the TTC, and the company that owns the building. That is a food delivery person cycling by in the lower centre.
I have never seen food delivery by bike but I have never lived in a crowded urban area, at least not for 70 years.
ReplyDeleteFor a second there, I thought that was a real person working. That's a great mural.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fine mural dedicated to working men of the city. Good to see food delivery on a bicycle, a perfectly eco friendly way to get around. Our university now has food delivery robots.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great mural, it looks real. I love the food delivery person riding by, I never seen one before. Great capture, Pat.
ReplyDeleteTTC has been with us for a longtime. I hope they are planning for more murals.
ReplyDeleteGreat mural, the delivery person is hard at work too.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great week ahead.
Nice way to appreciate the workers. It was nice to see the man on the bike because it puts that lovely mural into perspective.
ReplyDeleteThat's a big one.
ReplyDeleteNice one.
ReplyDelete...working people often don't get the recognition that they deserve. The delivery person is a nice addition.
ReplyDeleteYou can see the huge scale of this mural because of the food delivery man. Fabulous mural! Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Pat.
ReplyDeleteGreat mural. How come since I have this job in railway this theme seems to be everywhere? ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice shot!

Must be awkward to bike with that pack!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome art!
ReplyDeleteGran homenaje a los todos los que trabajan..
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
