I find it hard to walk by a car from the 50s and not stop for a shot. I spotted this 1957 Ford Country Sedan early on a Sunday morning walk. It was in great shape even in the interior which was huge.
I know the feeling - I just want to touch it, get inside and sit in the seats (if they are there - haha) and have someone drive me around in it. There was a 60s car I used to pass in the parking lot every day and I got so attached to it.
That's about the same size as my house - and a good deal more stylish.
ReplyDeleteThat does look big.
ReplyDeleteThat car as been beautifully maintained. It makes me think of a car my dad had when I was just a little kid.
ReplyDeleteThat 1957 Ford Station Wagon is a beauty. This was a great year for stylish cars. I had a cousin who had one just like this, but now long gone.

Great find Pat. It has been along time since I have seen whitewalls on tires.

ReplyDeleteUn gran "carro". Gusta ver estos coches antiguos. Gracias Pat.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
We had those beautiful cars never in the Netherlands. Our country is just to small.

ReplyDeleteSuch a beaut!
ReplyDeleteSeems like another lifetime !
ReplyDeleteI saw and photographed a similar vintage car a few days ago. The driver was having a hard time starting it, so he let it coast and jump started it.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding vehicle!
