When I took yesterday's shot I was heading to James Gardens to catch the ducks with autumn colours around them. When I got there the ducks had flown off somewhere so I am showing this shot taken a few weeks ago. The ducks were all sleeping many of them sleeping while standing on one foot.

They do have that habit.
ReplyDeleteOne leg to stand on and the other leg tucked in the feathers to keep warm?
ReplyDeleteThat is something we humans can't do.
ReplyDeleteHaha ... it's lucky ducks that can rest that way!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeletePretty scene with the bridge and ducks. I wish I could sleep so easily.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend.
That really is a beautiful photo. And it's so funny to see them on one foot, perfectly comfortable!
ReplyDeleteYour photo is a warm, restful scene with all those sleeping ducks.
ReplyDeleteHello :=) This is a lovely peaceful scene. The ducks have a beautiful place to hang out together.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend to you. All the best.
A snooze party. :) Great capture, Pat.
ReplyDeleteGreat harmonious scene
ReplyDeleteI've always said so many critters sleep or rest in such odd or silly poses!
ReplyDeleteAmazing, huh. They do not trip over.
ReplyDeleteThe bridge reminds me of my PIL, they have such a mini-version. 3-4 years we didn´t meet (not my fault).
Such acrobats.
ReplyDeleteNice spot
