The pond in the Wychwood Park neighbourhood had been frozen over but in the warm weather we had for the first week of the year the ice was melting. The ice in this pond is never safe enough for skating but it looks tempting so luckily there is a fence around it. I like the soft reflections of the trees in the water sitting on the ice.
...there's not much to melt here.
ReplyDeleteQuite peaceful at this visit.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your warmth for this time of year. This morning we are -2°F, but sunny. Yes, those are great reflections.
ReplyDeleteThe pond looks like a canvas for those nice reflections.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections on that cloud-like pond.
ReplyDeleteThis winter Mother Nature is up to something new.

ReplyDeleteDefreezing of lake is something special!
ReplyDeleteOh sad! Here they take out most water and then you can skate!
