This plate was found on the front of the old truck which I showed you on Tuesday. I loved all the textures & details so thought it all deserved a close-up. I think the nameplate was a new addition since in small letters above the Kurbmaster it says DeSotos which is the name of the nearby restaurant.
A good detail shot.
ReplyDeleteThe textures and finish on this old vehicle is great. It's developed quite a nice patina.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos.
ReplyDelete...Kurbmaster is an interesting story.

I like the textures and colour.
ReplyDeleteOne these days I am going to take a trip to DeSotos.
ReplyDeleteI like this with the color. Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteI like it!
ReplyDeleteWhat patina!
ReplyDeleteThat truck is a great colour.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cool early 1960s Grumman Olsen Kurbmaster step van. It surely is a survivor and has likely had many uses over the years, but been well cared for.
ReplyDeleteGreat close-up detail photo!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot revealing its unique texture and brand
ReplyDeleteBeautiful addition.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the original vehicle was also a DeSoto? It looks like a truck. We’re there DeSotp trucks or just cars?
ReplyDeleteGreat sign and a strong name for that car.
ReplyDeleteLove old cars but especially old trucks.
ReplyDeleteBuen enfoque de su nombre.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
