This wonderful building is actually the stables of Casa Loma. The stables are about a block from the Casa but are connected to the main building by an underground tunnel. I've shown it before but thought it was looking so nice on a sunny day that I decided to show it again.
Very impressive.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beauty!
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty spectacular.
ReplyDeleteMagnificent architecture.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is amazing! First time I've seen it. Thank you, Pat
ReplyDeletePeople should live as well as these horses must have lived. The crenelated towner is a show piece.
ReplyDeleteRight at the end of the short one-block street we lived on, Castleview.
ReplyDeleteUnique and special look to the design
ReplyDeleteWe have some pretty impressive stable blocks at our English stately homes - but nothing to rival that!
ReplyDeleteReady for Disneyland.
ReplyDeleteShe’s asleep, so I can’t ask her, but my wife once purchased a piano from the lady of the castle. She might have said that she lived well in the converted stables, but i may have it wrong. I imagine this was late 50s, possibly very early 60s. She and her dad had responded to an ad in the paper and were quite surprised that it led them to Casa Loma.
ReplyDeleteIt's an amazing place - looks like a Disney kingdom.
ReplyDeleteLike something out of a fairy tale.
