I was trying to get a shot of some of the towers going up on the old Honest Ed's site but found it impossible to get a clear shot with no wires or streetlights and then a streetcar rolled through the picture. Sometimes you can't win.
I was in Toronto last fall and had not been there since the mid 1990s. There were so many new tall buildings, and as you say, not easy to take them in photograph.
It happens!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a building. And, I like this scene. It has that "busy-city" look to it.
ReplyDeleteit's a great captue though!
ReplyDeleteGood picture anyway.

ReplyDeleteThe streetcar just adds to the action on the street. The building is interesting as modern architecture goes.
ReplyDeleteThat's reality and sometimes we just don't care for it. :) Good shot though.
ReplyDeleteInteresting building. Would be fun to shoot.
ReplyDeleteFor those of us who live in street car cities, tram overhead wires make photo taking extra challenging.
ReplyDeleteI have seen street photographers patiently waiting in one spot for hours for a clean shot
ReplyDeleteGreat city scene, I like the modern tower.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day!
But it gives a nice scale to the street with the buildings.
ReplyDeletePhotographic fun. We went out in the heat yesterday, and the light and shadows were all wrong.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful building.
