This float of critters was sponsored by Hudson's Bay stores (who own Zellers stores) and features an unusual mix of species don't you think? It is hard to see but the penguins are wearing skis and the polar bear has skates. Hudson's Bay like Canadian Tire yesterday is another very old Canadian institution with stores across the country and a long long history as a trading post in the 'olden' days.

I enjoy seeing your parade photos!
ReplyDeleteI hope there are more to come.
Cute:-)
ReplyDeleteA cute critter float, I love the bear, penguin and polar bear.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend.
The polar bear has a big smile on his face, he's having a great time. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is one giant Teddy Bear and he looks very hugable.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I haven't watched a parade like that in years. I did go to our golf cart parade this week though! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThank you for bringing us to the parade. Pat, Aloha, wishing you holiday magic
ReplyDeleteIt's a great parade, good fun.
ReplyDeleteThe polar bear is so cute!
ReplyDeleteYour week of parade photos is a lot of fun! It’s always amusing when you see representations of polar bears and penguins together. They could hardly live further apart. Puffins would be more plausible. Nice pictures.
ReplyDeletebest, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Who doesn't love dancing Polar Bears and Penguins on skies? The Teddy Bear looks a bit alarmed, but I think he will get over it.
ReplyDeleteGood one!
ReplyDeleteHello :=)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any parades like that with floats here, but I wish we did. How delightfully amusing to see these cute creatures dressed for cold weather in skates and ski's. Thanks for sharing.
Okay, this is seriously cute.
